New Amadeus Desktop to be Tested by Travel Leaders Corporate

Amadeus has entered into an agreement with Travel Leaders Corporate to test the new Amadeus One solution, the next-generation suite of IT solutions and services designed specifically to serve the needs of the North American business travel marketplace.

Vic Pynn, executive vice president for Amadeus in the Americas, said Amadeus will collaborate with Travel Leaders and other pilot partners on the Amadeus One agent desktop, which also includes the services of the newly launched Amadeus Travel Technology Consulting team.

This group is a dedicated, cross-functional team of Amadeus sales engineers, functional specialists and consultants representing a broad array of expertise and experience in the travel industry and beyond.

Pynn said Amadeus is taking a phased approach to rolling out the Amadeus One solution to business travel agencies in North America. Amadeus One was unveiled in August at the National Business Travelers Association Conference in San Diego. Pynn said working together with agency launch partners will allow Amadeus to further hone the solution to ensure maximum benefit and value to customers.
