Barbados to Host Inaugural Food & Wine and Rum Festival
The Barbados Food & Wine and Rum Festival will take place Nov. 19 to 22, 2010 in partnership with Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, Departures and Executive Travel brands. Hosted by Travel + Leisure’s Features Director Nilou Motamed, the Barbados Food & Wine and Rum Festival will bring together culinary stars Tom Colicchio, Marcus Samuelsson, Ming Tsai and Tim Love, joined by London-based Chef Fergus Henderson and Canadian Chef Rob Feenie, showcasing their expertise to festival goers through chef demonstrations, tasting events and interactive sessions.
Wine seminars and events will be curated by wine expert Anthony Giglio. Guests will also experience the authentic flavors of Barbados by local chefs including John Hazzard, Peter Edey and Henderson Butcher, who be demonstrating their culinary prowess alongside some of the most famous chefs in the world.
