Central America’s Tourism Ministers to Discuss the Future of CATA | | Thursday, 31/01/2008 | Tourism Ministers from Central American announced they will gather in Spain’s Madrid during the upcoming edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) slated from January 30 to February 3. The working session of the Central American Tourism Agency (CATA) will include the tourism ministers from Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama, together with a representation from the Central America Federation of Tourism Chambers, Taking advantage of their attending the FITUR 2008 edition and as a follow-up to the First Ordinary Session of the Central American Tourism Council held in El Salvador, the region’s high-ranking officials will broach the future of CATA, among other hot topics. CATA is charged with the promotion of the Central American region as one solid travel destination in both the European and Asian outbound markets. | |
