Superclubs’ Grand Lido Negril Resort & Spa Ranked among the World’s Finest

Thursday, 14/08/2008

Travel + Leisure magazine unveiled its much-anticipated World’s Best Awards 2008, and among the luxurious retreats and boutique hideaways that made its 13th annual list is Grand Lido Negril Resort & Spa in Jamaica. The AAA Four Diamond resort ranked No. 24 on the “Top 25 Hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas” survey.

To qualify for the World’s Best Awards, readers of Travel + Leisure and TravelandLeisure.com judged hotels on five criteria: rooms/facilities, location, services, restaurants/food and value. They were also asked to rate the hotel’s appeal for families and business travelers.

The 210-room all-suite Super-Inclusive resort is set on 22 acres of elegantly manicured grounds and two miles of private white sand beach on Negril’s Bloody Bay. The resort’s sister property Grand Lido Braco Resort & Spa in Rio Bueno, Jamaica ranked No. 20 on the 2007 World’s Best Awards list.

Grand Lido Negril boasts a fun, active outdoor playground by day and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere at night. The resort pampers with unique Super-Inclusive amenities including complimentary manicures and pedicures, 24-hour room service, dry cleaning, land and water sports, and a choice of four gourmet dinner restaurants.
