Dominican Republic Intends to Open Nine More U.S. Offices

The Dominican Republic plans to add nine tourism offices in the U.S. to accelerate promotional activities. The Caribbean country already has offices in Chicago, Miami and New York.

Also, the destination is committed to repairing and building roads and enhancing cruise terminals in Puerto Plata and Sans Souci (Santo Domingo’s main port), said Francisco Javier Garcia, the Dominican Republic’s tourism minister.
