Bulgaria, Greece to Cooperate on Trans-border Spa Tourism | | Monday, 08/12/2008 | A campaign to develop spa and alternative tourism in the border region between Greece and Bulgaria was started by the Greek union of municipalities with mineral springs. The campaign aims to develop a joint tourist product between the municipalities of Thessaloniki, Kilkis, Serres and Pella in northern Greece in cooperation with the Bulgarian municipalities of Kyustendil and Blagoevgrad, in the southwestern part of the country, the Greek newspaper “Makedonia” reported. |
