The Latin Caribbean’s “Slave Route” Presented in Havana

A multimedia pieced together by the UNESCO offices in Havana and Port-au-Prince and entitled “The Slave Route” was officially launched on March 13 in a ceremony organized by UNESCO’s Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean and the House of Africa attached to the Havana Historian Office.

New Seven Wonders of the World Chosen

Brazil’s Statue of Christ Redeemer, Peru’s Machu Picchu, and Mexico’s Chichen Itza pyramid were chosen along with the Great Wall of China, Jordan’s Petra, the Colosseum in Rome and India’s Taj Mahal.
