New Tourism Scholarship Opportunity

A scholarship opportunity may soon become available for Caribbean residents who work in the tourism industry. This development is the result of a donation by the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association of $10,000 to the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Foundation, Inc.

 

CTDC and Air Jamaica Mourn Loss of Jamaican Legend Byron Lee

The Caribbean Tourism Development Company (CTDC) and Air Jamaica both expressed remorse for the passing of Byron Lee. Lee, a musician, was also “a leader, a visionary, a ground-breaker and, in many ways, a true ambassador for Caribbean tourism through the tremendous cultural impact that both he and his music had worldwide,” according to the CTDC statement.
